Japan has a fantastic craft beer scene, with 100s of small microbreweries and craft beer imported from all over the world. But its not available everywhere. In fact, if you dont know where to look, you could very easily visit Japan and miss craft beer entirely.
The Beer in Japan app takes you to the best of Japans craft beer bars. It offers a selection from the Beer in Japan website, specifically tailored to the main Japan cities, and primarily selecting bars which have English beer menus and are reasonably foreigner friendly.
Also included in the app are various discount coupons - so not only is the app FREE, but it saves you money too! And for visitors in Japan, theres a brief guide to getting DATA and WIFI access in Japan (see Introduction section of the app).

Bar owners in Japan: If you own a bar in Japan and you dont have craft beer but want to start stocking it, contact me. I can put you in touch with breweries and importers who can supply you with craft beer - I dont charge any fee, I just want to improve craft beer availability in Japan.
